This site will be a repository of information, documents, and stories as they are gathered on my four sets of biological great-grandparents, the parents of Norman Paxton - my adopted father/uncle, and eventually my husband's great-grandparents.
Alta Rivers Podcast coming March 8, 2026
Posts have started! We will explore the lives of Curtis Dow Thornton, his wife Alta Rivers Gilbert, and their extended families. Posts will include census records, newspaper clippings, military records, court cases, and more. They will be the subject matter of our first season of Alta Rivers podcast set to launch March 8, 2026.
